Sleeves and shoulders are definitely one of the harder things to learn how to do when learning to make your own cosplay. Even though I've been sewing for over 10 years I still avoid them.
These are super helpful videos and articles to help you put in your own sleeves, and change sleeve patterns to better fit you. Make sure to make mockups to see if what you've changed will actually work. It's very easy to accidently mess up your sleeves. So take your time when modifying your patterns.
