Volunteer Opportunities 2025
We’re changing the way we’re organising volunteers, so please read the following carefully as things have changed from prior years.
If you have any questions, please email info@thepenti-con.org and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
For volunteering for 3 or more hours, you get a free weekend badge.
Upon signup, you’ll need to let us know what you’re interested in doing and for how long. We will be having a set schedule so you know when you’re needed and when you’ll be free. If you want to attend any events, please note that in your submission and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Please check any area you would like to be a part of. When scheduling we will keep your preferences in mind, but please be aware you may be scheduled outside your preferred departments so the entire event is covered if we do not have interest in all listed departments.
We need volunteers for the following areas:

Includes Contest Signups, Cosplay Repair Station, and Peace Bonding.

Event Breakdown (Sunday after 5pm)
Please note the times you will be available so we do not schedule you outside of your availability.
Those who sign up for Event Setup and Event Breakdown exclusively will only be scheduled for those times unless otherwise requested. Those who did not sign up for Event Setup and Event Breakdown will not be scheduled during those times.
We will have three volunteer orientation sessions on Friday. If you are helping out with Event Setup, you should be there for the earliest session. If you cannot make that one, accommodations can be made, just be sure to let us know.

If you cannot make Friday orientations at all, please let us know and we can work something out for before 9:30am on Saturday and or Sunday.
You are welcome to help out after your orientation if you are available for Event Setup Lite tasks.

We are not doing shirts this year. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause.
