Volunteer Opportunities
General volunteering
Welcome to the Penti-Con! Do you like comics? How about video games? There's also anime! And movies! And table top games! And...! There's a little something for everyone, and we rely on our volunteers to help keep it all organised and make the event a great success. If you would like to become a part of our own team of super heroes, you're in the right place! Simply fill out the form linked below
If you are selected as a super cool Penti-Volunteer, we will send you an email with confirmation, as well as instructions to get you to your orientation! Attending volunteer orientation is MANDATORY, though we do understand the limitations life places on all of us. If you cannot attend the main orientation, you will get a crash course with the volunteer coordinator when you arrive at the convention. We do ask that all volunteers be prepared to sign an agreement stating that you will conduct yourself in a manner appropriate and befitting of the Penti-Con, as well as a liability waiver.
We promise flexible shifts so you won't miss things you want to see and do. Volunteering does get you a free badge if the number of hours worked meets our time requirements.
We're looking for volunteers for pretty much everything from panels to security. If you're interested in doing something specific please note that on your submission!

Cosplay volunteering
This year we will be running a Cosplay Repair and Peace Bonding station. To make this possible we need volunteers with some basic knowledge on making cosplays. We will be supplying all the materials required (including a basic sewing machine) for volunteers to use to help attendees to repair their costumes. Volunteers will also be provided with the materials to peace bond as well as our weapon and prop policy.
