Okanagan Charity Quest is a local Extra Life fundraising team dedicated to supporting BC Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network.

 

If you didn't know, Extra Life is a DIY fundraising program that empowers gamers to raise money for their local children’s hospital by organizing gaming marathons, tabletop events, livestreams, and other creative campaigns on their own terms and timelines.

 

Each November, Okanagan Charity Quest produces a 24-hour variety show broadcast as their team’s annual fundraising event, but their work extends throughout the year.

 

At Penti-Con, Okanagan Charity Quest will bring that spirit of gaming and community together by hosting and operating an arcade and game space where convention attendees can play, connect, and help support BC Children’s Hospital.

 

Their presence will also include a silent auction and also a fundraising partnership with the 501st Legion, whose Star Wars costuming and community activities will help us raise additional funds.

 

They'll also be there to introduce attendees to Extra Life and help them get involved themselves; whether that means answering questions, helping with sign ups, or showing YOU how you can organize your own fundraiser."
