I'm C.B. Stonebrook, but you can call me Chris. I have a deep passion for storytelling, and I believe the best stories leave you thinking afterwards. TTRPG's are a wonderfully unique form of storytelling, where stories can unfold in real time and players can walk away from each game wondering about what could have been, the mysteries they didn't solve, the doors they didn't open. I want to share stories like that with the world, where dark tragedies await, but light can always shine through, if it is pursued. Come by my booth, I'd love to discuss storytelling, worldbuilding, and everything in-between.

The Veil of Evermist One-Shot: The Hands We’re DealtAfter a hard day’s travel, your campfire’s peace is broken by a soft plea. A single playing card trapped beneath a stone begs for release. The Hands We’re Dealt ensnares players in an enchantress’s dying spell where they’ll face twisted vistas, deadly nightmares and a rigged game of fate.
The game is open to 4-6 players with 3rd level characters. Premade character sheets will be available. Players will receive a copy of the adventure book, and a miniature deck of cards as thanks for playing.
Table spots are filling up fast! Be advised: this adventure is intended for older audiences, age 15+

Sam
Sam Cargnelli (he/him) is an indigenous dungeon master and chef from Vancouver, Canada. He took his passion for cooking and merged it with his love for all things nerd. Sam is one half of the dynamic duo of Fablemancers, now a part of The Tome. Sam strongly believes in collaborative storytelling and bringing elements from all folx at the table into a shared experience.
Sam’s time at QuestKeep includes several one shots and miniseries: Strixhaven, Out of the Abyss, and Star Trek: Binary. Sam’s campaign Yes, Strahddy is a queer spin on a famous villain with an all-queer cast now concluded! His charity work has involved The Trevor Project, Make a Wish Foundation, Take This, The Canadian Cancer Society, The Trans Empowerment Project, and several others.
Sam Joined Link’s Tome of Adventure as Tome Weaver in 2024, bringing a passion for storytelling at the table. With over 18 years of TTRPG experience, you’ll find Sam comfortable at any table running systems from Paizo, WotC, Free League, Modiphius, and more!
When not running games, you’ll find Sam reading the latest Brandon Sanderson novel (or rereading his favourite parts of the Cosmere), playing coop games with friends, or taking his Husband Link on hikes all around Metro Vancouver. Sam has a passion for Science Fiction and can speak FOUR fantasy languages (Klingon, Sindarin, Dalish, and Huttese) and a smattering of others.

We are the crew of the Interstellar Scout Ship (ISS) Raptor on a continuing mission to explore the uncharted regions of space, deal with aliens both friendly and deadly, and defend The Consortium Worlds against space dangers. During our survey of Ometicon IV, Captain D'Arcy was injured and is currently in a coma leaving the crew's senior officers in charge while he recovers in a medical pod. THE BEST PART: You, the audience, can influence our adventure. As we raise money, your donations will cause chaos and shenanigans as only a Q could do. Everything from random encounters, to distress calls, or sci-fi reality altering, timeline shifting, and even quantum field distorting events. The more we raise for charity, the more chaos we can cause! So set your Lasers to STUNNING and your feelings to Pon Farr, because we're bolding rolling where no dice have gone before!

Link’s Tome is a space to play TTRPGs. We focus on creating a welcoming space for all players, new and old to have positive, safe game experiences! The Tome believes that EVERYONE deserves a chance to play at the table!
Link (he/him) has over 15 years of Table-Top RPG experience with 10 of those years being behind the screen as a Storyteller. He has experience with many different systems, such as Pathfinder (first and second editions), Cypher System, Call of Cthulhu, and Dungeons and Dragons 3.5, 4th, and 5th editions. If there is a system you enjoy that he doesn't already know, bring it in and Link will learn it for you!
